John Budd founded our firm of solicitors in Blackpool in 1938. He was the holder of the prestigious John Mackrell Prize awarded to the leading law student nationally and was appointed as Blackpool’s  Coroner.

Over the years there have been mergers with other successful Blackpool solicitors and the range of legal work undertaken by the firm has increased. Well known local firm Kidd Whittaker merged with John Budd and Co in the late 90s and James Edwards of another well known local firm Lester and Edwards joined soon afterwards.

Presently there are 3 partners supported by 8 executive staff of whom 3 are qualified solicitors 2 are experienced legal executives and one is a trainee solicitor. The firm comprises a healthy mix of highly experienced lawyers with young and enthusiastic executive members of staff.

The firm has the best paper library within the local area coupled with online access to a number of legal publications. Information Technology is fully utilized by the firm which enjoys a comprehensive computer network. Email correspondence with clients and others is positively welcomed for its speed and reliability.
